In a rather epic turn of events, I was accepted to DJ a set on the main stage at bronycon this year. Considering it is the biggest convention in the world of its type with a normal attendance of around ten thousand, it will probably be the biggest show I ever do. Sure some are gonna laugh and say "Performing for bronies?! HAHAHAH!" But I gotta tell you, the musical subculture of the brony fandom has some exceptionally talented guys and gals in it. Should be one heck of a fun time!

Today we mourn the passing of a great man, Leanord Nimoy. Even though I never met the guy, I am actually rather surprised at how much his death is affecting me. Mr. Spock was certainly in my top five favorite characters of all time, probably top three. I hope you all raise a mug of your favorite beverage in his memory today. Live long and prosper, friends.

Today as I always do, I raise a glass of Jack Daniels and salute my fellow service members and all those who have given their lives in the pursuit of terrorists and other ne'er do wells both at home and abroad. Never forgot that day, and never forget those who run towards the danger instead of away from it, whether the danger is fire, criminals, or terrorists.
